Rost Precision Engineering was established in 1989 and has grown from a two-man operation, to a staff complement of 16 full time employees, who are excellent and experienced in their field of skills.

The Owner Stephen Coldron is a qualified Tool and die Maker. He has had considerable experience with High Precision Components, Prototypes, Quality Systems, Technical Procedures and Costing Analysis.

Rost Engineering runs the ISO9001/2000 system.

Rost's management system is "Hands on" and technical knowledge and procedures being conveyed to our staff at all times.  Our business operates from 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:00 to 13:00 on Friday. 

Rost has manufactured for International markets through various companies and has components in the United States, England, France, Switzerland, Norway, Australia, New Zealand and Sweden. 

A large percentage of our work is for the Aero Space Industry (Civil & Military) and has consequently become specialized in machining Aluminium and Stainless Steels as well as composite components.  Proto type as well as production batch machining

Our workshop consists of 2 x CNC Lathes, 5 x CNC Milling Machines (3 and 4 Axis) ,  1x 4 Axis Wire Cutter, 2 x Turret Type Milling Machines, 1x Horizontal Milling Machine, 2x Centre Lathes, 2x Surface Grinder, CO2 Laser cutter, 3D Scanner welding (tic & mig), alodine and a Full Inspection Facility, Drawing & Design and CADCAM Facilities.
